Data Retention and Deletion Policy for Google User Data
Transparency & Security for Google User Data on SweepGrid.
Retention of Google User Data
SweepGrid operates entirely on a local-first, client-side architecture. We do not store, retain, or persist any of your Google user data (including email content, message metadata, headers, inbox structure, or OAuth credentials) on our external servers or remote databases. All data accessed via Google APIs is held ephemerally in your browser's active memory and local client-side storage solely for the duration necessary to deliver the email management features during your active session.
Deletion of Google User Data
Because SweepGrid does not maintain any persistent server-side storage of Google user data, data is purged when your session concludes. Users have full control to immediately remove and delete their data at any time through the following methods:
- In-App Disconnect:
Clicking the "Disconnect Account" or "Log Out" button in the SweepGrid dashboard immediately wipes all cached OAuth tokens, email metadata, and session states from your browser's local storage.
- Client Storage Clear:
Clearing your browser's cookies, site data, or cache immediately removes all locally cached user information.
- Google Account Revocation:
You can immediately revoke SweepGrid's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account Security Settings (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions).
